Planning and structural fire protection

This course is held together with Prof. Harte from the Chair of "Structural Analysis and Dynamics of Structures" and Prof. Anders from the Chair of "Materials in Civil Engineering" and usually takes place in the winter semester.

In the area of planning and structural fire protection, special aspects of fire protection concepts as well as standard-based engineering calculation methods for cold and hot measurement of building materials (focus on steel and reinforced concrete structures) are taught. The content taught is then applied in a case study.
